Radosław Hyży will no longer be the coach of basketball team FutureNet Śląsk Wrocław. His contract with the club expired in May and won’t be extended.
This season, FutureNet Śląsk has a goal to win the promotion to the top Polish Energa Basket League. Unfortunately, this goal hasn’t been achieved as our team lost the final battle with Enea Astoria Bydgoszcz 0:3 on aggregate. Now the team has entered the break between seasons and will be undergone a rebuilding process, with new players coming and some players will leave for sure.
What we know so far is that Radosław Hyży will not be the creator of the new FutureNet Śląsk Wrocław team. His contract expired a few days ago and the club stated that it won’t be extended. His run with the club started in October 2017 when he took the steering wheel from coaching duo Dominik Tomczyk – Jacek Krzykała. Two seasons ago, FutureNet Śląsk was fighting to win the promotion to the playoff round but fell short to achieve it. Last season, our team won the regular season but lost the playoffs.
Radosław Hyży managed FutureNet Śląsk in 69 games from which his team won 42. We’d like to thank the coach for his work full of engagement, passion and ambition, for his everyday efforts to help his players become better. Good luck in the next stages of your career, Coach!
