10 January 2019
Soon the city of Grudziądz (Poland) will host a great event in the world of kickboxing, with the Maksymilian Bratkowicz (athlete supported by FutureNet) as one of the stars. On January 24, there will be a DSF Challenge gala. A few weeks before the event, some of the fighters came to the city to meet the fans and turn up emotions.
On Wednesday (January 9), Maks Bratkowicz came to Grudziądz to promote the DSF Challenge 2019 gala. The schedule of the day was very intense and – most of all – interesting. Our fighter had a demonstration training, and also taught about 100 children who visited the event the basics of kickboxing and showed some training tricks. Of course, there was a photo session and autographs.
– It was a great meeting. We taught children a healthy lifestyle, we wanted to instil in them sports habits. It was a pleasure for me to be the part of it – says Maks Bratkowicz.
At the end of January in Grudziądz, things will become way more serious. The program of DSF Challenge gala includes two championships fights in the K1 style, and also an international match between Poland and Lithuania. Maks Bratkowicz will have to face a serious challenge: to defend the title of the champion in the category up to 86 kg. His rival will be well-experienced Czech fighter Jirka Jaros. In the second championship fight of the night, in the category up to 65 kg, Matthew Rajewski and Jan Lodzik will face eachother in the ring.
